Bill Haley And His Comets Vinyl Records

Bill Haley and His Comets were an American rock and roll band, formed in 1952 and led by Bill Haley. They are credited with being the first rock and roll band to achieve widespread success in the 1950s, having a string of Top 10 hits including "Rock Around the Clock", "See You Later Alligator", "Shake, Rattle and Roll" and "Razzle Dazzle".

The band's first album, Rock Around the Clock, was released in 1954 and featured their biggest hit of the same name. The album was a massive success, selling over 25 million copies and helping to launch the rock and roll genre. The follow-up album, Bill Haley and His Comets, was released in 1955 and featured more of the band's hit singles, such as "Shake, Rattle and Roll" and "Razzle Dazzle".

The band's third album, Rockin' the Oldies, was released in 1956 and featured several of their most popular songs, such as "See You Later Alligator" and "Rock Around the Clock". The band continued to release albums throughout the late 1950s and 1960s, with their last album, The King of Rock and Roll, being released in 1971.

An interesting fact about Bill Haley and His Comets is that they were one of the first white rock and roll bands to achieve mainstream success. They paved the way for many other white rock and roll bands who followed in their footsteps.
