Belle & Sebastian Vinyl Records

Belle & Sebastian are a Scottish indie pop band formed in Glasgow in 1996. The band is fronted by lead vocalist and guitarist Stuart Murdoch and features nine members. The band's sound is a combination of indie pop and folk music.

Belle & Sebastian's breakout album was their 1998 release, The Boy With the Arab Strap, which spawned the singles "The Boy With the Arab Strap" and "Judy and the Dream of Horses". This album is often regarded as one of the best indie rock albums of the 1990s. Other standout albums include Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like a Peasant (2000), Dear Catastrophe Waitress (2003) and The Life Pursuit (2006).

Belle & Sebastian's most well-known singles include "The Boy With the Arab Strap", "I'm a Cuckoo", "If You're Feeling Sinister", "Get Me Away From Here, I'm Dying" and "Wrapped Up in Books".

An interesting fact about Belle & Sebastian is that their 1998 single "The Boy With the Arab Strap" was named after a leather belt worn by the Scots during the 16th century.
