Atlanta Rhythm Section Vinyl Records

Atlanta Rhythm Section (also known as ARS) is a Southern rock band that formed in 1971 in Doraville, Georgia. The original lineup featured Rodney Justo on lead vocals, Barry Bailey and J.R. Cobb on guitar, Paul Goddard on bass, Robert Nix on drums, Dean Daughtry on keyboards, and Steve Dantzler on percussion.

The band's first album, Atlanta Rhythm Section, was released in 1972, followed by their second album, Back Up Against the Wall, in 1973. The band's third album, Third Annual Pipe Dream, was released in 1974 and featured their first hit single, "So Into You". Other standout albums include A Rock and Roll Alternative (1976), Champagne Jam (1978), and Underdog (1979).

The band is best known for its classic rock hits, such as "So Into You", "Imaginary Lover", "Doraville", "Spooky", "Jukin'", and "I'm Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight".

An interesting fact about Atlanta Rhythm Section is that the members of the band have remained consistent throughout the years, with the exception of the lead vocalist, who changed from Rodney Justo to Ronnie Hammond in 1979.
