4TH STUDIO ALBUM FROM ROCK GODS! Dinosaur Jr. saw one of their key members, Lou Barlow, leaving the group after their previous album 'Bug'. Somewhat of a Mascis solo album, it has classic moments all over it with the usual over the top soloing and J's belting that can be alarming and endearing at the same time. Never a dull moment a highlight for me is the acoustic 'Flying Cloud'. Album opener 'The Wagon' is what 'Alt Rock' was all about in the 90s. Possibly one of the best album openers ever, IMO.
