Aerosmith is an American rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970. The group consists of lead singer Steven Tyler, guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford, bassist Tom Hamilton, and drummer Joey Kramer. Aerosmith is the best-selling American hard rock band of all time, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide, including over 70 million albums in the United States alone.

Some of Aerosmith's most successful and popular albums include Toys in the Attic (1975), Rocks (1976), Permanent Vacation (1987), Pump (1989), Get a Grip (1993), and Nine Lives (1997).
