Stéphane Grappelli Vinyl Records

Stéphane Grappelli was a French-Italian jazz violinist and one of the pioneers of the jazz violin style. He is best known for his collaboration with Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club de France Quintet.

Grappelli's career began in the 1920s and lasted until his death in 1997. He made over 100 recordings with Reinhardt, including their famous 1934 album, "Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli." He also made many recordings as a solo artist, including his 1977 album "Stéphane Grappelli Plays Gershwin."

Some of Grappelli's most popular songs include "Minor Swing," "It Don't Mean a Thing," "Honeysuckle Rose," "My Funny Valentine," and "My Sweet."

An interesting fact about Grappelli is that he often performed with a cello bow, rather than the traditional violin bow. This gave his sound a unique, almost bluesy quality.
