Quechua
Quechua is a traditional music style from the Andean region of South America. It has origins in the ancient music of the Incas, and is closely related to the music of other Andean cultures such as the Aymara, Quechua, and Mapuche. The music is characterized by its polyrhythmic structure, use of flutes, panpipes, and drums, and its unique vocal style. Its songs are traditionally about the daily life of the people in the Andes, and often include stories about nature and the spiritual world. Today, Quechua music is performed in concerts and festivals throughout the Andes and has become popular in other parts of the world as well.
