Pearce-Pickering Ragtime Five

Pearce-Pickering Ragtime Five is a traditional ragtime band from New Orleans, Louisiana. The band was founded in 1998 by Bill Pearce and Jim Pickering, two renowned jazz and blues musicians from the city.

The band has released two albums to date, 'Ragtime Classics' (1999) and 'Dixieland Jazz' (2000). Standout songs include 'The Entertainer', 'Maple Leaf Rag' and 'Tiger Rag'. The band is also known for their renditions of jazz classics such as 'Crazy Rhythm' and 'When the Saints Go Marching In'.
