After announcing their comeback earlier this year and releasing a slew of new songs, Bright Eyes are finally coming out with a new album in 2020."Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was" is the name of the record, the successor to 2011's The People's Key and thus the first album from Conor Oberst's band project in nine long years.The trio, which besides Oberst currently consists of Mike Mogis and Nathaniel Walcott, recorded 14 songs for it. There are also guest contributions from Flea (Red Hat Chili Peppers) and Jon Theodore (The Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age).With "Persona Non Grata", "Forced Convalescence", "One And Done" and "Mariana Trench" four singles from the new album have already been released.And they show:has succeeded with "Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was" another timeless indie rock work of art.
