  • "Pictures At An Exhibition" is the third album by British progressive rock supergroup Emerson, Lake and Palmer. in 2016, the legendary longplayer is released again, as a remastered version.

    Originally, "Pictures At An Exhibition" had been released in 1971, after the band had recorded the album live at Newcastle City Hall that same year.

    It features a reinterpretation of Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky's piano cycle "Pictures at an Exhibition" and the encore "Nutrocker" - a performance of Kim Vincent Fowley's rocking version of the Tin Soldiers' march from Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker." The album rose to number three on the British album charts in 1971.
