Since the release of their debut album "Opus" in 2010, the Swedish heavy metal band has been a celebrated phenomenon. They are considered an insider tip in the metal scene and have built a Facebook following of 92,000. Many well-known artists have also declared themselves fans, such as James Hetfield and Dave Grohl, who covered and co-produced ABBA's "I'm a Marionette" with the band.
In 2012, the band opened for several shows by Paradise Lost and Blood Ceremony on their respective European tours. However, they can't really be seen, as the band members perform masked and anonymously, each credited as "A Nameless Ghoul." Only the singer uses the pseudonym "Papa Emeritus" (Pope Emeritus) or "Papa Emeritus II."
Ghost B.C. release their new album "Infestissumam" and promise "a delivery of sweetly satanic melodies, snaking distorted riffs, and vaudevillian keyboards."
