"In The Earth Again" is a collaboration forged in the heart of the US Midwest. It unites Oklahoma City noise rock institution Chat Pile with visionary guitarist and composer Hayden Pedigo from Texas/Oklahoma.
What began as a casual split release evolved into a 36-minute album that combines their contrasting sensibilities into something entirely new. Pedigo's panoramic, primitive guitar meets Chat Pile's industrial decay, creating a record that explores uncharted emotional registers and atmospheric depth for both.
"In The Earth Again" sounds like a post-apocalyptic transmission from rural nowhere. Rather than making concessions, the five artists work as one, and every decision is made in support of the larger vision. The result is both intimate and expansive, a tribute to the modern wasteland.
