Breakcore

Breakcore is a fast-paced and chaotic style of electronic music that emerged in the early 1990s. It is characterized by a fusion of breakbeat rhythms, often from drum and bass, hardcore punk, and jungle, combined with heavy basslines and digital production techniques such as sampling, chopping, and distortion. It is often associated with extreme or radical styles such as gabber, drill and bass, and noise. Breakcore has been used by a number of underground producers, DJs, and record labels, and has become increasingly popular in the last decade.
