Black Sabbath is an English heavy metal band that formed in 1968 in Birmingham, England. The original lineup consisted of guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, and drummer Bill Ward. Black Sabbath is considered to be one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time, helping to define the genre with the release of their 1970 debut album, Black Sabbath.

Black Sabbath’s standout albums include Paranoid (1970), Master of Reality (1971), and Vol. 4 (1972). Paranoid contains some of the band’s most well-known songs, such as “Iron Man,” “War Pigs,” and “Paranoid.” Master of Reality contains the classic songs “Children of the Grave” and “Sweet Leaf.” Vol. 4 includes the fan favorite “Snowblind.”

An interesting fact about Black Sabbath is that the band has been inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame twice, once in 2005 and again in 2006.
