The exceptional English singer Yola is releasing her album "Walk Through Fire"!
Before the British artist's debut album with a total of 12 tracks is released, the single track "Ride Out In The Country" was already released at the end of November 2018, and a video has already been released for it. The second track "Farewell Look" was released in the middle of January. Musically, the album combines the sounds of traditional orchestral strings with tremolo guitars, which provide an excellent basis for Yola's gripping vocals
The debut album of the up-and-coming musician was produced by eight-time Grammy winner Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and is the latest release on his label Easy Eye Sound, distributed by his long-time label Nonesuch Records. The entire album was written and recorded in Auerbach's Nashville studio
Yola comes from a small town near Bristol in England. Her parents forbade her to make music. When she later became homeless and lived on the streets of London, the British musician suffered from stress-related loss of voice. Before she started her solo career in 2016, she wrote songs herself and performed with bands like Massive Attack or Phantom Limb.
