Issued in 1971, the album was recorded quickly with a deliberately rough edge and an informal feel that divided critics at the time, yet helped establish Wings as a genuine group rather than a solo extension. Built around McCartney’s melodic instinct and Linda McCartney’s presence, it moves between muscular rock, gentle pop and rambling improvisation, with songs such as Mumbo, Wild Life and Dear Friend reflecting its uneven but distinctive charm. Over time, it has come to be appreciated as an important step in the band’s development.

Artist: Wings

Label: Apple Records – AP-80377

Format: LP, Album

Units: 1

Country: Japan

Released: 1971

Genre:
          Pop & Rock

Style:

            Pop Rock

A1 Mumbo
A2 Bip Bop
A3 Love Is Strange
A4 Wild Life
B1 Some People Never Know
B2 I Am Your Singer
B3 Tomorrow
B4 Dear Friend
