Walter Wegmüller (1937 - 2020) was a Swiss-Japanese artist who grew up under difficult circumstances in Bern.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter training in Basel, Bern, Paris and London, he began his artistic career. In addition to painting and sculpture, Walter Wegmüller worked across the entire spectrum of art.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe gained widespread international recognition, particularly from 1974 with the publication of his \"Gypsy Tarot\".\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe was successful at countless exhibitions in Europe and overseas and was repeatedly presented with prizes and awards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHowever, he never forgot his origins as a Verdingkind and \"Rom child from the Kalderasch tribe\".\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1973, he released the album Tarot with an all-star band. The band included successful musicians such as Klaus Schulze, Manuel Göttsching, Harald Grosskopf, Dieter Dierks, Hartmut Enke, Jürgen Dollase and Walter Westrupp. It remained Walter Wegmüller's only foray into the world of music.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe album was last released on vinyl in 1976.
