Muscle Shoals, Alabama - since the 1960s the city has been known for its great music and the unmistakable "Muscle Shoals Sound". In local recording studios such as the FAME Studios in the late 1950s and the Muscle Shoals Studios (1969), countless hits have been produced that have had a major impact on the history of pop music.
Even today there is still great recognition for this piece of musical heritage. That's why a whole squad of big stars, starting with Chris Stapleton, Willie Nelson, Lee Ann Womack and Jamey Johnson, up to Demi Lovato, Steven Tyler, Keb 'Mo, Grace Potter and Aloe Blacc now give these absolute song classics their own personal touch.
