Released in 1981, their second record followed the breakthrough of Boy and found the band leaning into sharper textures, devotional imagery and a more questioning mood. Songs such as Gloria, Fire and Tomorrow show a group still testing its identity, but already marked by The Edge’s chiming guitar, Adam Clayton’s melodic bass and Bono’s fervent vocal style. The album is often seen as a key step in U2’s evolution, bridging their urgent early sound with the broader emotional reach that defined their later work.

Artist: U2

Label: Island Records, Polystar – 25S-44

Format: LP, Album

Units: 1

Country: Japan

Released: 1982

Genre:
          Pop & Rock

Style:

            Pop Rock

A1 Gloria
A2 I Fall Down
A3 I Threw A Brick Through A Window
A4 Rejoice
A5 Fire
B1 Tomorrow
B2 October
B3 With A Shout (Jerusalem)
B4 Stranger In A Strange Land
B5 Scarlet
B6 Is That All?

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1474/5258/files/MC0xMzY4LmpwZWc_1f89ce36-ecc9-4a3e-b171-cb5dfe837bb7.jpg?v=1792479683
