Dream Letter (Live In London 1968) – Tim Buckley (3xLP)
- Release details
Tim Buckley possessed a golden voice with a range from baritone to tenor and knew how to use it. Sometimes he only transported the lyrics with it, then again he used it as an extraordinary, independent musical instrument. The two-hour live concert was recorded at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall on 10 July 1968 and includes five songs from "Goodbye And Hello", three songs from "Happy Sad", one song that later appeared on "Blue Afternoon" ("Happy Time ") and one recorded much later for" Sefronia "(" Dolphins ", written by Fred Neil).Six other tracks did not appear on any album. Buckley was joined for the occasion by guitarist Lee Underwood and vibraphonist David Friedman and Pentangle bassist Danny Thompson.
