"The 'Angry' Young Them" is the first album from the Northern Irish rock group fronted by singer-songwriter legend Van Morrison. The album was originally released in June 1965.
Six of the 14 songs on the album are Van Morrison originals. These include the well-known "Gloria" and the song "Mystic Eyes". Other songs were written by US producer Bert Berns, among others. With "Don't Look Back", "The 'Angry' Young Them" contains a cover of the well-known John Lee Hooker song, "Bright Lights, Big City" is a new interpretation of the Jimmy Reed classic.
