Released in 1987, it followed the departure of key member Wayne Hussey and largely became an Andrew Eldritch-led statement, sharpened by Jim Steinman’s overblown theatrical touch on This Corrosion. The album’s cold synths, thunderous drums and apocalyptic mood gave tracks such as Dominion/Mother Russia, Lucretia My Reflection and This Corrosion lasting force on alternative radio and in the club scene. More than a genre exercise, Floodland helped define the dark, grandiose end of 1980s rock and remains the group’s most celebrated studio album.

Artist: The Sisters Of Mercy

Label: Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab – MOFI 1-021

Format: LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Remastered, Stereo

Units: 1

Country: US

Released: 2013

Genre:
          Punk & Alternative

Style:

            Goth Rock

A1 Dominion / Mother Russia
A2 Flood I
A3 Lucretia My Reflection
A4 1959
B1 This Corrosion
B2 Flood Ii
B3 Driven Like The Snow
B4 Never Land (A Fragment)
