Eleven years their fans have waited for this news: The Raconteurs are back and they have a new album in their luggage: "Help Us Stranger" is the name of the third album of the Bluesrockers, the successor of "Consolers Of The Lonely" from 2008.
Twelve songs have been recorded by Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler at White's Third Man Studio in Nashville, Tennessee - eleven own compositions and a cover of Donovan's "Hey Gyp".
First listening impressions of "Help Us Stranger" already came last year with the songs "Sunday Driver" and "Now That You're Gone".
A few guests are also waiting on the record: multi-instrumentalist Dean Fertita (The Dead Weather, Queens Of The Stone Age) and sisters Lillie Mae and Scarlett Rische from country band Jypsi.
The Raconteurs' eagerly awaited comeback album has arrived: "Help Us Stranger".
"...the reunion of the Raconteurs is a stroke of luck for friends of raw, authentic rock music." (Stereo, August 2019)
