Issued in 1973, it marked the group’s first LP with their younger brothers Ernie and Marvin Isley and brother-in-law Chris Jasper, expanding the family trio into a six-piece band with a tighter, more muscular sound. Built around the hit “That Lady”, the album blends supple soul harmonies with wah-wah guitar, sharp rhythm work and a harder funk edge, while also reworking songs such as “Summer Breeze” and “Listen to the Music” into the Isleys’ own style. It became one of their most important and influential releases.

Artist: The Isley Brothers

Label: CBS – SBP 234410

Format: LP, Album, Stereo

Units: 1

Country: Australia

Released: 1973

Genre:
          Soul & Funk

Style:

            Funk

A1 That Lady
A2 Don'T Let Me Be Lonely Tonight
A3 If You Were There
A4 You Walk Your Way
A5 Listen To The Music
B1 What It Comes Down To
B2 Sunshine (Go Away Today)
B3 Summer Breeze
B4 The Highways Of My Life

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1474/5258/files/Mi02MDYyLmpwZWc_0936f48a-a415-4ff8-b28a-c01512bfa4d7.jpg?v=1793084458
