Issued in 1972, this LP presents the final Goon Show as a complete stage-style performance, complete with warm-up and full show structure, and distils the surreal wordplay, sound effects and rapid-fire nonsense that defined the troupe. With Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe at the centre of the chaos, it stands as both a comic swansong and a reminder of how influential the series was on later British radio and television comedy.

Artist: The Goons

Label: BBC Records – 2964 035

Format: LP, Album, Stereo

Units: 1

Country: Australia

Released: 1974

Genre:
          Non-Music

Style:

            Comedy

A1 The "Warm Up"
A2 The Show Part 1
B1 The Show Part 2
