Issued in 1981, the album reflects the band’s rise from Perth’s late-1970s scene, where their mix of melody, attitude and social observation set them apart from straight rock peers. Songs such as Part Of Me, No Noise and Waiting show a group confident in both bite and restraint, with the record’s crisp arrangements giving its pointed lyrics real momentum. It stands as one of the more distinctive Australian guitar albums of its era and a strong introduction to the band’s sound.

Artist: The Dugites

Label: Deluxe Records – VPL1 6576

Format: LP, Album

Units: 1

Country: Australia

Released: 1981

Genre:
          Pop & Rock

Style:

            Alternative Rock,

            Pop Rock

A1 Part Of Me
A2 No Noise
A3 Waiting
A4 Malcolm'S Got A Problem
A5 Go To Sleep
B1 There'S A Place
B2 Who Loves You More
B3 Rely On Us
B4 Being Used
B5 After The Game
