Released in 1982, the album followed the band’s move from Australia to the UK and captured their corrosive blend of punk energy, art-rock dissonance and gothic menace at full force. With Nick Cave’s savage vocals cutting through trace elements of blues, swing and noise, it became a key document of early alternative rock’s darker edge. Its influence has only grown over time, helping define the template for later generations of bleak, confrontational underground music.

Artist: The Birthday Party

Label: Missing Link – LINK 21

Format: LP, Album

Units: 1

Country: Australia

Released: 1982

Genre:
          Punk & Alternative

Style:

            Alternative Rock,

            Art Rock,

            Punk

A1 She'S Hit
A2 Dead Joe
A3 The Dim Locator
A4 Hamlet (Pow, Pow, Pow)
A5 Several Sins
B1 Big-Jesus-Trash-Can
B2 Kiss Me Black
B3 6" Gold Blade
B4 Kewpie Doll
B5 Junkyard

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1474/5258/files/LTUxMjEuanBlZw_1783e044-c03a-4125-8d64-fb7177bcfb17.jpg?v=1790970736
