Released in 1979, the album finds Gallagher tightening his sound without losing the raw edge that made him a cult hero, balancing electric blues grit with hard rock momentum. It includes some of his best-regarded material from the period, notably the relentless title track and the sharp, haunted “Philby”. Across the record, Gallagher’s instinctive feel, emotional phrasing and no-frills playing keep the focus on song and performance, making Top Priority a prime example of his tough, unsentimental style.

Artist: Rory Gallagher

Label: Chrysalis – L 36978

Format: LP, Album

Units: 1

Country: Australia

Released: 1979

Genre:
          Pop & Rock

Style:

            Blues Rock,

            Electric Blues

A1 Follow Me
A2 Philby
A3 Wayward Child
A4 Keychain
A5 At The Depot
B1 Bad Penny
B2 Just Hit Town
B3 Off The Handle
B4 Public Enemy No. 1

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1474/5258/files/Ny00NDg4LmpwZWc_b1cd12b6-14b5-4b58-95a0-24d298201fac.jpg?v=1792735411
