"California" is the third and final studio album of MR. BUNGLE and the successor of "Disco Volante" from 1995.
The experimental US band under the aegis of Mike Patton (FAITH NO MORE, TOMAHAWK, FANTOMAS etc.) saw the light of day in 1985, when the members were still well-behaved and attending local high school.
MR. BUNGLE released four demo tapes from the mid to late eighties before becoming a major label, and between 1991 and 1999 three albums were released worldwide.
MR. BUNGLE were known for their groundbreaking musical characteristics and often moved through a myriad of different genres in a single song.
Many of the songs were completely unconventional and used many different instruments and samples.
The album was previously only available on vinyl in the USA.
