Japanese jazz/breakbeat, folkloric mega-rarities such as DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist, Egon and Co. Combines traditional Japanese instrumentation with western jazz influences in a unique way.
Minoru Muraoka plays "Shakuhachi" - a traditional Japanese bamboo flute - and his band members accompany him on the "Koto" (strings) and the "Tsutsumi" (drum), among others, to create their "Shakuhachi Jazz" sound.
