Built around extended, free-flowing improvisations, the album shows Davis pushing jazz into harder, more volatile territory, where rock volume, studio electronics and open-ended group interplay collide. The four sides correspond to the four performances, each named for the night it was recorded, and together they mark a crucial stage in the move from post-bop to fusion. For listeners tracing Davis’s transformation, it stands as one of the most important live releases of his career.

Artist: Miles Davis

Label: CBS – S2BP 220068

Format: LP, Album

Units: 2

Country: Australia

Released: 1970

Genre:
          Jazz

Style:

            Experimental,

            Free Jazz,

            Fusion

A Wednesday Miles
B Thursday Miles
C Friday Miles
D Saturday Miles
