Issued in 1971, the double album blends live and studio material from a period when Davis was rapidly expanding his electric language, with performances shaped by players such as John McLaughlin, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea and Wayne Shorter. Tracks like “Sivad”, “What I Say” and “Selim” show the music shifting between groove, abstraction and raw improvisation, while the edited sequencing underlined Davis’s restless studio vision. Widely regarded as a key document of his early-1970s transformation, it remains essential to the fusion era.

Artist:  Miles Davis

Label:  CBS/Sony – SONP-50452~3

Format:  LP, Album, Stereo

Units:  2

Country:  Japan

Released:   1971

Genre:
          Jazz

Style:

            Fusion

A1 Sivad =
A2 Little Church =
Medley = メドレー
B1 What I Say =
B2 Nem Um Talvez =
C1 Selim = セリム
C2 Funky Tonk =
D Inamorata And Narration By Conrad Roberts =
