Issued in 1983, it reflects the Icelandic group’s early rise as one of the most distinctive voices in Nordic jazz-funk, pairing fluent musicianship with memorable themes and rhythmic drive. The record balances instrumental precision with an accessible, upbeat feel, helping define the band’s reputation beyond their home scene. For listeners exploring Scandinavian fusion of the early 1980s, it stands as one of Mezzoforte’s key statements, with the clarity and lift that made the group stand out.

Artist: Mezzoforte

Label: Plaza Records – PZ 004

Format: LP, Album

Units: 1

Country: Australia

Released: 1984

Genre:
          Soul & Funk

Style:

            Fusion

A1 Midnight Sun
A2 Spring Fever
A3 Summer Dream
A4 The Venue
A5 Rockall
B1 Double Orange Juice
B2 We'Re Only Here For The Bear
B3 Observations
B4 Distance
