Firmly rooted in the tradition of classic library music, the album draws on the profound and elegant side of the genre:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003evintage keyboards, analog synthesizers, drum machines and melodic economy, executed with clarity, warmth and restraint.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRecorded in February 2025 at Ritmo Studios in Leysin, Switzerland, high in the Alps, Moving Images unfolds as a series of finely tuned pieces, characterized by restraint, texture and a fine sense of timbre. Swiss bassist Elie Ghersinu features prominently throughout the album, his full and flowing bass sound providing a consistent foundation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe album is inspired by the golden age of European library music, capturing the spirit of De Wolfe and Bruton releases such as Alan Hawkshaw's \"Frontiers Of Science\", the push-button albums of Karl Jenkins and Mike Ratledge, Edmondo Giuliani's refined orchestral arrangements and Alessandro Alessandroni's \"Romance and Drama\" for Coloursound.
