The guitarist put together an impressive line-up with trumpeter Louis Smith, tenor saxophonists Junior Cook and Tina Brooks, pianists Duke Jordan and Bobby Timmons, bassist Sam Jones and drummer Art Blakey.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\"Volume 1\" opens with Burrell's laid-back blues \"Yes Baby\" before segueing into Jordan's livelier \"Scotch Blues\". Burrell enchants with a stunning rendition of Vernon Duke's \"Autumn In New York\" before closing the set with a penetrating version of the Duke Ellington staple \"Caravan\".
