Released in 1968, their debut album captures the original line-up still finding its identity, with Ian Anderson’s flute quickly becoming the group’s defining sound alongside Michael Abrahams’ guitar and the rhythm section’s loose, club-honed drive. The record moves between hard-edged blues, jazz-tinged detours and sharper original writing, showing the band already pushing beyond simple revivalism. It became an important starting point for Jethro Tull’s later move into progressive rock and remains a vital snapshot of their early ambition.

Artist: Jethro Tull

Label: Reprise Records – RS 6336

Format: LP, Album, Repress, Stereo

Units: 1

Country: Australia

Genre:
          Pop & Rock

Style:

            Blues Rock

A1 My Sunday Feeling
A2 Some Day The Sun Won'T Shine For You
A3 Beggar'S Farm
A4 Move On Alone
A5 Serenade To A Cuckoo
B1 Dharma For One
B2 It'S Breaking Me Up
B3 Cat'S Squirrel
B4 A Song For Jeffrey
B5 Round
