Released in 2012 and produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, the album pairs Mac Rebennack’s weathered voice and piano with a tougher, more stripped-back sound than much of his earlier work. Its title track and songs such as Revolution and Ice Age show him sounding defiant, contemporary and deeply rooted in Louisiana tradition at once. Widely praised on release, the album won the Grammy Award for Best Blues Album and stands as one of his strongest modern recordings.

Artist: Dr. John

Label: Nonesuch – 530395-1

Format: LP, Album, Stereo

Units: 1

Country: US

Released: 2012

Genre:
          Pop & Rock

Style:

            Bayou Funk,

            Louisiana Blues,

            Psychedelic

A1 Locked Down
A2 Revolution
A3 Big Shot
A4 Ice Age
A5 Getaway
B1 Kingdom Of Izzness
B2 You Lie
B3 Eleggua
B4 My Children, My Angels
B5 God'S Sure Good
