Released in 1981, it draws on rock, reggae, Latin, Cajun and calypso influences without losing Lindley’s unmistakable slide-guitar personality and rough-edged charm. Best known as a sought-after session player, Lindley stepped forward here with a sound that feels exploratory yet tightly focused, turning familiar material and originals alike into something eclectic and immediate. Its mix of roots traditions and offbeat energy helped establish him as a distinctive bandleader as well as a first-call sideman.

Artist: David Lindley

Label: Asylum Records – 5E-524

Format: LP, Album, Stereo

Units: 1

Country: Australia

Released: 1981

Genre:
          Pop & Rock

Style:

            Cajun,

            Calypso,

            Reggae,

            Rock & Roll

A1 She Took Off My Romeos
A2 Bye Bye Love
A3 Mercury Blues
A4 Quarter Of A Man
A5 Ain'T No Way
A6 Twist And Shout
B1 El Rayo-X
B2 Your Old Lady
B3 Don'T Look Back
B4 Petit Fleur
B5 Tu-Ber-Cu-Lucas And The Sinus Blues
B6 Pay The Man
