Conservative estimates put the number at 40,000 recordings!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1975, Sly \u0026amp; Robbie formed the rhythm section of the star-studded group The Revolutionaries, which primarily served as the house band for Channel One. At that time, Bunny Lee’s studio—along with Joe Gibbs’s—was considered one of Kingston’s hit factories. This was due in no small part to the Rockers beat perfected by Sly \u0026amp; Robbie, which replaced the previously dominant one-drop style.
