Andrés Segovia made his first public appearance at the age of 16 in Granada in 1909. A few years later, he gave his first professional concert in Madrid, where he played works by Francisco Tárrega and his own guitar transcriptions of J. S. Bach. Segovia influenced a whole generation of classical guitarists who built on his technique and musical sensibility, including luminaries such as Christopher Parkening, Julian Bream, John Williams and Oscar Ghiglia, who all acknowledge that they are in his debt. In 1981, he was ennobled by King Juan Carlos I, who conferred on Segovia the hereditary title of Marqués de Salobreña.
Limited edition on solid silver and black vinyl.
