Twenty One Pilots

Twenty One Pilots is an American musical duo from Columbus, Ohio, consisting of vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun. They first met in 2011 at a local music store and formed the band soon after.

Their breakthrough came in 2013 with the release of their third studio album, Vessel, which featured their hit single “Stressed Out”. The album peaked at number twenty on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Their fourth studio album, Blurryface, released in 2015, was their most successful to date. It spawned the hit singles “Tear in My Heart”, “Stressed Out”, “Ride”, and “Heathens”, which was featured on the soundtrack of the movie Suicide Squad. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and was certified double platinum.

In 2018, they released their fifth studio album, Trench, which included the singles “Jumpsuit”, “Nico and the Niners”, “Levitate”, and “My Blood”. The album was met with critical acclaim and reached number two on the Billboard 200.

The duo has also released several stand-alone singles, such as “Chlorine”, “The Hype”, “Level of Concern”, and “Saturday”.

An interesting fact about Twenty One Pilots is that their musical style is a unique blend of alternative rock, hip-hop, reggae, and electronica. They have also been known to incorporate elements of ska, punk, rap, and indie rock into their music.
