Swervedriver Vinyl Records

Swervedriver is an English alternative rock band formed in Oxford in 1989. The original lineup consisted of Adam Franklin on vocals and guitar, Graham Bonnar on guitar, Steve George on bass, and Jez Hindmarsh on drums. Swervedriver's sound has been described as a blend of shoegazing and classic rock, with the band often cited as one of the key pioneers of the shoegazing genre.

The band released four studio albums during their initial run, starting with 1991's Raise, followed by 1993's Mezcal Head, 1995's Ejector Seat Reservation, and finally 1998's 99th Dream. Standout tracks from the band's first three albums include "Rave Down", "Last Train to Satansville", "Duel", and "Never Lose That Feeling".

Swervedriver reunited in 2008 and released their fifth studio album, I Wasn't Born to Lose You, in 2015. An interesting fact about Swervedriver is that they were the first band to be signed to Creation Records, the label founded by Alan McGee and which would go on to sign many iconic British bands such as Oasis, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and Primal Scream.
