Steely Dan

Steely Dan is an American rock band formed in 1972 by Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. The duo are known for their complex jazz-influenced compositions and ironic, dark lyrics. They have released nine studio albums, five live albums, and four compilations, selling over 40 million records worldwide.

Their standout albums include Aja (1977), which includes the singles "Peg" and "Deacon Blues", and Gaucho (1980), which features the hit single "Hey Nineteen". Other notable albums include Countdown to Ecstasy (1973), The Royal Scam (1976), and Two Against Nature (2000).

Steely Dan has had many successful singles, including "Reelin' in the Years" (1973), "Rikki Don't Lose That Number" (1974), "Do It Again" (1972), and "Peg" (1977).

An interesting fact about Steely Dan is that they have never toured. They have made live performances, but never a full tour.
