Max Roach Vinyl Records
Max Roach (1924-2007) was an American jazz drummer, composer, and bandleader. He was a pioneer of bebop, and is widely regarded as one of the most influential drummers in jazz history.
Roach's most notable albums include Drums Unlimited (1966), Percussion Bitter Sweet (1961), and We Insist! Freedom Now Suite (1960). He also wrote some of the most memorable jazz standards of all time, such as "It's Time," "Quiet As It's Kept," and "In the Red."
An interesting fact about Max Roach is that he was the first jazz musician to be featured on the cover of Time magazine in 1961. He was also an outspoken advocate for civil rights and social justice, and often used his music to make political statements.
