LL Cool J, born James Todd Smith, is a Grammy-winning American rapper, actor, author, and entrepreneur from Queens, New York. LL Cool J is one of the most iconic hip hop artists of all time and is credited for pioneering the genre of rap music. His career in the music industry began in 1985 when he released his debut album Radio. The album was an instant hit and featured some of LL Cool J’s most popular singles including “I Can’t Live Without My Radio” and “Rock The Bells”.

LL Cool J has released a total of fourteen studio albums throughout his career and has earned four Grammy Awards. LL Cool J is also known for his collaborations with other hip hop legends such as Tupac Shakur, Method Man, and Redman.
