Dinosaur Jr. Vinyl Records

Dinosaur Jr. is an American alternative rock band formed in 1984 in Amherst, Massachusetts. The band is composed of J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph. The band's original lineup featured Mascis on guitar and vocals, Barlow on bass, and Murph on drums.

The band's early albums, such as 1985's Dinosaur and 1987's You're Living All Over Me, are considered to be groundbreaking works of the American alternative rock genre. The band's sound was a combination of punk, noise rock, and classic rock, and featured Mascis' signature fuzzy guitar sound.

The band's breakout album was 1988's Bug, which featured singles such as "Freak Scene" and "No Bones". The album received critical acclaim and established Dinosaur Jr. as a major force in alternative rock.

The band released several more albums throughout the 1990s and 2000s, including 1994's Without a Sound, 1997's Hand It Over, and 2009's Farm. Their most recent album is 2016's Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not.

In addition to their studio albums, Dinosaur Jr. has released several live albums, such as 1990's Ear-Bleeding Country: The Best of Dinosaur Jr. and 2009's Live at the 9:30 Club.

An interesting fact about Dinosaur Jr. is that they were the first band to be featured on the cover of The New Yorker magazine in 2011.
