Bill Frisell

Bill Frisell is an American jazz guitarist, composer, and arranger. He began playing the guitar at age 8 and went on to study classical and jazz music at the University of Northern Colorado. He has worked in a variety of musical styles, including jazz, rock, classical, and folk, and has collaborated with a wide range of musicians.

Frisell's most acclaimed albums include: Have a Little Faith (1993), This Land (1994), Nashville (1996), The Intercontinentals (2002), and Unspeakable (2004). His standout songs include "The Great Divide," "Ron Carter," and "What Do You Want."

An interesting fact about Frisell is that he was part of the house band for the television show Late Night with Conan O'Brien from 1994 to 1996. He was also featured on the show's final episode.
