  • Since his beginnings as a musician, Peter Gabriel has been one of the most influential artists of this time. He has written milestones in pop history with albums and music videos.

After his time with Genesis, Peter Gabriel launched his solo career in 1977 with his simply self-titled debut album, on which one of his biggest hits to date can be found: Solsbury Hill.

His third album, the timeless classics Games Without Frontiers and Biko, followed in 1980.

In 1986, he finally had his big, worldwide breakthrough with his album So - here you can find the already mentioned Sledgehammer and the congenial duet Don't Give Up together with Kate Bush.

So was reissued in various deluxe versions for the 25th anniversary of the album and Gabriel played various album concerts worldwide.

In the early 90s, Us followed, which took Peter Gabriel on a worldwide tour with an unusual stage concept. Finally, in 2002, the artist released Up, his longest studio album to date, which is sound-wise oriented towards the early Gabriel albums. His latest work appeared in 2011 - "New Blood", on which he reinterprets his own songs.
