AIR

AIR is a French music duo consisting of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. They are well known for their blend of electronica, synthpop and chill-out music.

The group was formed in 1995 and released their debut album, Moon Safari, in 1998. It featured their most popular song, "Sexy Boy," which became an international hit. The album also included the tracks "Kelly Watch the Stars," "All I Need" and "Talisman."

In 2001, AIR released their second album, 10 000 Hz Legend. It featured the singles "How Does It Make You Feel?," "People in the City" and "Don't Be Light."

In 2004, they released their third album, Talkie Walkie. It included the hit single "Cherry Blossom Girl" and featured guest appearances by Colin Greenwood of Radiohead and Jarvis Cocker of Pulp.

In 2007, AIR released their fourth album, Pocket Symphony. It featured the singles "Once Upon a Time" and "Left Bank," and the album was nominated for a Grammy Award.

In 2009, AIR released their fifth album, Love 2. It featured the single "Do the Joy," and the album was also nominated for a Grammy Award.

An interesting fact about AIR is that they were one of the first groups to create a "viral video" for their song "Sexy Boy." The video was a collage of vintage footage that was compiled and released in 1998, and it quickly gained popularity on the internet.
